" You remind me so much of him. You were both strong and confident in your own ways and there were many parallels. They are small but seemed so important. The more times I spent with you, I could slowly feel the cloud lifting. I thought that if I pretended that he were you, perhaps it were as if he never died and the pain would all be gone.

So I decided that you and I would do the things he and I did. We went ice skating, that's what you and I did. We had a favourite restaurant. I brought you there. We planted our future under a tree. I chose that for us too. And because he died in the sea, I pushed you in, then saved you again. "
